Fernworthy reservoir cist. This burial chamber known as the Thornworthy Tor Cist is located very close to the north edge of the reservoir.

This little cist sits on the gentle lower southern slopes of Thornworthy Down surrounded by the remnant small kerb stones that once retained its covering mound. Originally part of a cairn about 30 ft wide and 5-6 ft high, traces of which survive as a circular bank up to 2.75m wide and 0.8m high, with overall dimensions of 12.8m in diameter. Originally there was a second slightly smaller cist (which was removed after the excavation).
