Chagford Memory Bank

I can see that it may be useful to have a generla discussion forum – though were it to take off it might need significant monitoring, but my main aim has been to create a specific space – with multiple thematic and location-based strands – to collect local memories. I wonder if this will get lost within a more general society forum? Also, I don’t think I can create new topics as a non-editor user – certainly I can’t see any buttons that might allow me to do so.

Ah – so I see that did get create as a new topic, but within ‘General Discussion’ – I think what I want is a specific ‘Chagford Memory Bank’ forum where posted can then be divided by topic.

Yes you need to create a new forum called “memory bank” – admins can do this from the dashboard – on the left hand side
